Born and raised in Tallahassee, Lipika loves the charm and quirks of North Florida. She’s been writing for nearly 50 years and published a book of poems and photos created and captured during the pandemic. Lipika prefers to read non-fiction but will read almost anything.

She has been a literary judge for Seven Hills Literary & Penumbra Poetry Contest and the Royal Palm Literary Awards. 

Lipika participates in two writing critique groups and two book clubs.

I am a Tallahassee transplant from Wausau, Wisconsin, who moved here in July 2024. I have been married for 28 years and have one son who is attending Florida State University College of Law.

I work from home as a proposal development analyst, which includes the duties of a proposal writer.

I have a strong affinity for North Florida, particularly Tallahassee, and look forward to continuing my various hobbies, including writing.

Avid reader of multiple genres and a local "Tallahasseean" who tried to get away and lived in West Palm Beach for 8 years but was pulled back when I took over my insurance agency with Allstate. Love fiction and pursuing travel memoirs as well.
