    Born and grew up in Springfield, Illinois; graduated Illinois College.

    Lived for a time in Manhattan, worked in Technical Theater.

    Exiled to Florida in 1984.

    Moved to Tallahassee in 1991.

    Joined Tallahassee Writers Association in late 1991 or early 1992.  I consider my membership to be continuous since then.

    Worked for the State of Florida in capacities including writing, editing, and layout from 1997.

    Retired in 2018.
