Laura Cogdill

Laura G. Cogdill is a former secretary of the Tallahassee Writers Association, and led the Havana Writers Group for six years. Several of her short stories are available on Amazon. "Liquidating Life", a book about her husband's journey with brain cancer, won a silver medal from the Florida Association of Authors and Publishers. A graduate of FSU, Laura is certified in elementary and primary education. She has traveled to 46 states and several countries. "Never stop exploring."

Nicholas Marconi

The stories surrounding Nicholas G. Marconi are as wild as the ones he writes, and none of them are exaggerated. If anything, they are understated to make them more believable to the uninitiated.

Marconi is a lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy. The stories he writes are the sort of things he likes to read: Works that ask questions of what might be and how one might react in such a world.

I have always loved science fiction. Clark, Asimov, Pournelle, Niven, and Dick have all been influences. My career in the sciences encourages my desire to keep up with what we are and are becoming capable of doing. From astronomy to nanoengineering, and physical chemistry we humans are blowing the lid off what was thought to be possible only fifty years ago. How different would PK Dick's writings be if he had envisioned our current tech?
