Our May Tallahassee Writers Association meeting on Thursday, May 8 will feature a panel discussion on publishing guidance. The panel will include authors who have gone the traditional publishing route as well as self-publishing. We also hope to include a small-press independent publisher. The topics will include traditional publishing and alternatives such as Substack.
Join us at 6:00 pm (a half-hour before the meeting starts) to enjoy coffee, treats, and exhilarating conversation with your fellow TWA members.
The Tallahassee Writers Association meets monthly at the Marzuq Shrine Temple at the corner of North Monroe and Tharpe Streets. Meetings are free and open to the public on the second Thursday of each month. This year, we added a half-hour "schmooze" to our meetings, from 6:00-6:30 pm.
We are currently meeting in person, but we also have the livestream option for those who prefer to attend virtually.
